All Ford cars till '49. All Ford trucks till '96. All 5 lug Econoline vans from at least '78 till they stopped making E150's. Some others as stated.
Have no idea if they are the correct year but there is a set of 4 in Rialto on FB Marketplace https://www.facebook.com/marketplac...wse_serp:8659dde8-81d6-44bb-a7d8-15d442d50a35
never heard of a Chevy with 5 lug 5.5" bolt circle. But some of the Dodge 4x4s from the 70s, might have? The old Imperials, mid 50s to early 60s, had 5.5" bolt circle. But they might have had 14" wheels, just to confuse you.
You are correct, brainfarted and the 5.5 chevy half ton pattern is a 6 lug. I apologize and I'll go to the bathroom and give myself a thorough beating. I promise to enjoy it.
Then you can get into whether the wheel has innie or outie hubcap bumps. Innies, Ford 1/2 tons, 5" wide from early 50's to 66, and special order 16" innies Too. Outies after 66, all 15" for....a long time in varying width
But, don't try to bolt them on a stock Model A without hydraulic brakes. While they are the same bolt pattern, they will not fit the drums. Dave
Dodge trucks and vans. My son has an 89 ramcharger 2x4 with them. the 5-lug 4x4 has them as well. If the center hole was bigger, the steelies from my 2003 Ram bolted up to my 66 Scout (just not up front).
which ones??? you can get most from about 80 bucks on ebay free shipping....on market place I see people asking 150 plus shipping... I wanna do spyder caps so the center is not that important.... but going on model a drums is....well I should say 1939 /40 ... I've got a new set of 8-20's/5-50's 15's that I wanna put on my Vicky...
seems like a lot for old rims???? 90 bucks each plus shipping....parts flippers are kinda killing it for traditional builders.... most don't even have a car... but ****** up all the good parts and mark them up sky high...like these rims ... yard sell 20 bucks all 4// market place 100 each...
It depends what style rim you want, inside bump or outside bump. Inside bump (think '40 Ford wheels) are going to be more expensive then outside bump (think 60's F100). Seems like getting cheap rims is getting really hard now, even self pull junkyards are pricey. $50 for a used needing cleaning and paint rim isn't out of question around here.
I've got a whole stack of Ford half-ton pickup wheels with 5 on 5.5 bolt pattern. Don't know how I ended up with so many of them. I also have a couple of Mercury 15" wheels, same bolt pattern.

A personal pet peeve of mine is the later ford truck rim has flat cooling holes where as the earlier stuff has the nice Cresent moon shaped holes.
