Thanks for the thread Jeff. Gene made the scene down under, we swapped hellos at Chopped. He was flat-out with all the fans wanting to meet him. He was a popular cat here.

A little something l received from my good friend Chuck Leighton at the Frankenmuth auto fest. Two of the legends in customizing. Had a good story about Gene,but a little too long to post here. Rest in peace Mister Winfield!

Book ends. Last year, at Detroit’s Autorama, Tom from Brothers had the car at his spot in the basement. He’d recently acquired it I believe. It was upstairs this year with all the other customs!
