Poor Camaro......

 

This was my '63 Riviera that I bought and finished up, then sold to get my '60 Coupe Deville. The stripes and frenched LEDs were already done and I didn't think 15s would look good with them, so I went the whole "pro-touring" vibe with it....out of all my cars I've ever had, chicks dug that one the most, so I do miss it....

 

That Camaro just might piss off the purists! If it's a '68, one less out of 235,000 made won't hurt. Unless the SS emblem is real, about 10% of all were so equipped..

I enjoy watching this go around the pits and also on cruise nights. It's got enough blower and cam to throw it on its roof.

Aftermarket door skins & quarters, and a few other Camaro trinkets and you have a modern version of the old hot theme.
You should have known the Camaro and most Chevy guys were never going to accept it, so it should have had a Ford or Mopar drive train in it. If your going to wiz off the Chevy lovers, why go 1/2 way?

I love that song. Guy was a nut.

 

I was a big fan of the King since the early '70s.... Not so much for john....

 

Actually the second half of that old black and white clip where he crawls into his coat is re-mastered with a clip of local Dutch comedian Andre Van Duin who is still going strong at 78 years old and still on TV.

 

A mere child !!! I read about him in the early 60's !!! HUGE fan...
Check out his museum in Ocala, Fla. sometime !
