Got her going again! All Mallory parts this time!!!

-New Low cut-in 1 wire internal Regulator
(Seems way more stable, and a consistent 14.8v when it kicks on, somewhere around 1200 maybe now? No tac. )

-Mallory Circuit protector ( hid behind radiator hose in black GM wire loom tape)

-New Accel/Mallory E-Spark Module. (Actually manufactured in 2023, so no old style.).

-An actual 1.4 ohm Mallory coil!

-And actual Mallory 0.8 ohm ballast resistor!
-New Pertronix Cut to fit Wires
-437 Autolite 8N Tractor plugs.( slightly more electrode sticking out.)

So far it’s been running good, just has a stumble off idle which I think it’s the 54 jets are too small. It had 62s in it which was really rich it called for 51’s, in a 390 Holley, (which I cant see it running at all?). so I’m gonna put 59s in it and readjust accelerator arm pump to .015 and see what happens!
    All in all,
I still don’t trust it though so I’m gonna probably drive less than 5 miles around my neighborhood for a month or two in case I have to use AAA lol!!!!

    IMG_4268.jpeg IMG_4270.jpeg 1 week later.
Ventured out of the neighborhood, and down the freeway one exit, still running good, so far ballast, coil, spike filter seem to being doing their job.
Maybe next week I’ll do two laps down the freeway!
(by the way, ended up going all the way back to 61 jets seems to like them!)

    Thanks OutBack!
I still won’t fully trust it until I get a spare Unilite distributor to keep behind the seat!

IMG_4282.jpeg IMG_4280.jpeg IMG_4281.jpeg IMG_4283.jpeg IMG_4284.jpeg IMG_4285.jpeg Well my 33 front end is really narrow so I have no room for an overflow tank so last year I put a mustard bottle on the frame rail and it kind of works until it flipped over and dumps out so now I use my sewer plant plumbing skills and made a little overflow tank With a burp valve on top and a polyurethane line on the inside, going to the bottom with a little fluid there so it sucks it like a late model. I don’t know if it’ll work, but we’ll see !
