On my 16th birthday, I bought a '53 Chevy two door that was dark green with a white top for $200. It showed 68,000 miles on the odometer and had some plastic seat covers on it. Car was only 11 years old then so it didnt smoke. I worked at a place that leased semi trucks and trailers; my job was changing oil in the tractors..... the head guy had me put 1 quart of STP in each engine that I changed oil in. We kept the five gallon STP can sitting on a big flat top stove so it would flow. One day, I changed oil in my '53 so I put a quart of STP in the motor...... it wouldnt even turn over because the STP was so thick due to the cold. I left it overnight to drain, the next day, it still was slowly dripping out. I sold the '53 for $300 when I went away to college.
