@Utahvette has a fun problem to solve. He's recreating a version of the Project X 57 Chevy and it's coming along very well. He only has old magazine photos to reference. Here's the pic he needs deciphered: There's a couple familiar, for sure a Champion spark plugs. Let's help him out and solve it. Looking forward to this...
I used my scan image app to try to turn the image but I am not sure it is much better View attachment 6344349
None of the many Project X photos I can find online have any decals on the windows. Is there a reference to this photo's time period?
he is cloning the 1969 era L88 powered version. here is a link to his thread https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/project-x-project.1311167/
the second to the right on the bottom row is unknown and the right 3 on the top row are unknown. all the rest he already knows. the second to the right on the bottom row and the right 3 on top are the ones we need to help with
Does anybody remember/know if ANY of the articles during/after the original build listed parts used? Might make it easier to pin down what the decals might be, if we KNOW it's got a Crower Cam, then we check Crower decals, or Mallory ignition, we check Mallory decals, etc., ya know? I know I went screen-blind the last couple days scrolling and searching.
I have this book on project X. I looked through the building of the L88 and saw nothing, maybe some decals are from earlier versions? I will look some more
Here is a spec list for the car prior to the big block installation. Assuming that some of the decals were leftovers.
