    Hello,

For this weekend’s St. Patrick’s Day events, a green custom Plymouth Station Wagon was used as a guinea pig. Components from various Chrysler products were used, and a Nomad style two door version looked better than a stock 4 door version and it also allowed me to have a front opening door for easier access.

The custom touches even included Chrysler Wire Wheels to give the lowered rake look, some cool touches and a cruising attitude. There is also a custom trailer as a open bed for carrying things or a sleek cover to lock and keep things safe. Underneath, a full size sleeping area is protected a sliding cover for all weather protection. .

I looked at plenty of Chrysler products and used various parts to put together a full Chrysler product (60s Plymouth) station wagon for the masses.

Go Green… We are not named O'connor or O'Brien, but the color green is a good one for this post and hot rods… YRMV

A bit of green to keep with the St. Patrick's Day theme.

Just picked up a fairly uncommon 180 page 2012 paperback called 'Muscle Car Mania'. It actually delves into Australian modified/ racing scene from much earlier days, and onwards from there. It's a picture book with good captions on a bunch of cool old collected photos. I saw some photos of the birth of Tonsley Park where Chrysler really took off for a couple of glorious decades down-under. The Valiant was pivotal in this. I remembered this sketch I did, around the same time that this book that I knew nothing of was launched.

Well for St. Patrick's Day, I can't show you my green car, but I can show you reflections of my red car in my green car...

Painted the Felix Chevrolet garage sign to sell at the Selma California Swap Meet tomorrow, Visit me at space A-20
Sanford & Son. Felix Chevrolet is still in business in Downtown LA, the first Hispanic owned Chevrolet Dealership.
The owner Winslow Felix was friends with the cartoonist Pat Sulivan that created Felix the Cat 9 years before Disney created Mickey Mouse. The two decided to cross market their brands, and as they say the rest is history!
