I made it there and found a few things I needed for projects but didn’t see an abundance of vintage items or even spots where they might have been. The east wall had most of the stuff that looked vintage but not a lot of trim pieces which is what I was looking for. I did not look at the project bodies as I tend to give in to tempting projects. Talked to the radiator guy, the Quick Performance guy, and a vendor that was selling air cleaners who confirmed that they would not work in the open if it was to rain. So I’ll have to figure out a plan B for bad weather driving.

The first one in has the best chance of getting the good stuff but the wife saying go ahead and go was the real prize. And I didn’t even have to tell her she sounded just like my second ex. Last time she said I thought you were only married once before. I said yes and it got very quiet and quite frosty.

Don’t drive in bad weather problem solved….
Over the years, I would take that approach to be safe. Even with a planned trip any significant distance in a Hot Rod to go see someone. Better to arrive later than not at all.
People today are too distracted driving. Bad weather is a sign to just pull off and take a break. I like taking the back roads instead of the interstate. I’ve met some interesting people stopping along the way in small towns.
    Good food too.
