Hey!!! So I've been searching, and maybe I'm just lazy. But does anyone know somewhere I can get a complete side trim clip kit for my 57 chevy? I have all the trim that I have removed, but all the clips are crusty and broke. I just figured somebody offered a complete kit for both sides, but turns out you have to piece it together! Most of mine are missing or broke so I'm not even sure exactly what I need. I should say this is on a g***er race car, so being "factory correct " isn't really an issue, just need it ON there!

First we'll need to know what model it is, and body style...which determines which ones you need, and how many.

The factory parts book might help with which ones are used where, or it might not.

Then you can start shopping....don't be surprised if they only offer the clips for the more popular trim levels, and you have to get extras, if you have a 210, for example.

Sorry I didn't say, but yes, it's a 210 2 door sedan. And I need all the clips for the long chrome strips that go along the fender, door and big V on the quarter panel, on both sides. So from the looks of those kits, I will need 2 of each?

Probably one of each, but check the details where you order it.

if you have the remains of any of them take them down to the local auto body supply store. maybe bring the trim with you so you get the right one.

At my local body supply shop, they will only sell a box of 50. Try Restoration Specialties, they should have them.

Type in 1957 chevy side trim clips on ebay or Amazon. Kits come up for those. Most tri-5 parts suppliers should have them as kits as well.
