Is it just me, or do others also think they are too heavy in "the nose"? Just an observation

My favorite 35-6-7 pickup is the Johnny Rotten 37 out of the Fat Jack Robinson shop.

There are some really nice trucks in these pics. I like the light yellow one. But I have to agree to the nose heavy look. Always looked to me like a S-10 frame swap. :( Ford didn't quite have the spring in front of the axle perfected for looks in the pickups yet. Still, I appreciate any nice vehicles, no matter what make or body style.

I really like 35/36 Ford PU's , to me they have the styling of what a 33/34 Ford truck should have looked like .(just my humble opinion, please do not attack me  )

I have owned my 35 pu for 50 years. Always said it was my poor mans 34 due to the similar styling.

Other than the frame, fenders, cab, radiator shell, they're practically twins. You hardly notice the slanted windshield.

When I was in college, (1971) I heard that a friend had quit driving his '35 Ford Pickup because the frame rusted and it broke in half:(.
Gave him $100 for it, found a free '36 frame and moved everything over to the new frame...took about a month and a half...drove it all through college.

Even did an ink and wash painting of me and the truck for a college art class. b35c.jpg

And how about a fake '36? Built this '39 Ford pickup in the '90s. Hated that '39 "toilet seat" grille so much that I adapted a '36 pickup grille. b39b.jpg
