    That’s Tom McMullen’s tub from Street Rodder Magazine.

    Yes, I remember that he built a few of them as magazine projects. One was purchased by a guy in Wenatchee, WA and later lost in a garage fire

    Pretty sure the yellow highboy had funky shaped louvers and square headlights. The other was full fendered with a rainbow paint job from brown to white. I grew up in that era and have read every single issue front to back many times.

    Toms Tub II was owned by The Peterson Automobile Museum. The "Hot For Teacher" car shown above.

    They sold the car in 2023 on Bring A Trailer.....it brought $27,000.
