Pretty good turnout. I have heard lots of folks comment how it is the biggest one they have seen here in Duncan. Will see how tomorrow goes.

Well, I would call that a pretty good swap meet this year. I may have to go again next year. Good seeing lots of friends as well as making several new friends too. :)

  10. Good seeing you! Did not find the Fulton piece. Did find complete ones. Too rich for my "wants" though.

that was a great swap meet. More pre-war stuff than any other since Chickasha cratered. I talked to a lot of nice people and had a really good time. I will go back next year. The fireman in charge is a great guy, very helpful. I got some Model T parts I wanted. I didnt buy a lot of parts but I got this 51vica.jpg 51vic.jpg

trulyvintage, I really appreciate the advance notice so I could plan to be there. Other swap meets need to be advertised ahead of time.

I got a Model T steering wheel for $10 and the plastic is perfect. there was a rag tied around it and I guessed it was the nut that holds the wheel on. yep its there. both parts of it. haha its incredible that someone saved both pieces so long ago. Got the woodruff key too. :) since they saved both parts, I will just have to repair it twheel.jpg twheelkey.jpg

Best news for me is that after counting up the money I collected at the swap meet, I have just enough to now buy the rebuild kit for my 312.

The guy with 11 Model T’s that you talked to was Sid Drapal of Nostalgia Sid’s Dropped Axles. That was his grandson with him. Anyway, not sure if I’ll go to Tulsa swap meet or not. I must have been wandering around trying not to spend money. Sorry I missed you as well.
