An 18 year old thread rises from the dead. It must be a really slow Sunday. Best song? Ginger or Maryanne? Jennifer or Bailey? Betty or Veronica? Timeless discussions.

No particular place to go- chuck berry.

Just from the point that if something can go wrong it's always at the most inopportune moment....

This is one album i totally wore out as a kid. This on my record player while building model cars all along about the age of 12 or so, this album had cars in the back grounds of the songs and i always wanted a car that had that "sound".

i would have to say this album did just as much for me getting into hot rods as my model cars and my uncles 66 gto with a 63 factory dual quad 421 super duty motor and 4 speed did. That 421 with headers and just header mufflers sounded as close to anything on that album at the time I could come close too. I'd be outside playing and here that car launch from the stop sign 3 blocks away and knew immediately it was my uncle and he was headed my way....

  27. Kinda sad to check to see when many of the early posters on this thread were last logged on. Assume that many of them either moved on, lost interest in the site or went on to Hot Rod Heaven.:(

that was a song by jan & dean that proved prophetic for jan berry. he crashed his corvette and was close to being a vegetable for the rest of his life!
