    You got me thinking.
You´re correct, that is better that have shoes as You mentioned. I was open and think about brakes.
I have installed many times those 1937-> lincoln brakes and everytime "Longer shoe front".
In my roadster I have like that. Good brakes, maybe too good when have washed car and brakes are wet.

Today, first thing 6.30 in the morning. I changed shoes.
    Thanks !!!

    Tuesday.
I drove roadster home. Its only approx 200meter (1/8mile) from here to my another garage. I need more space there.

Today installed windshield hinges, frame.... fuel pump, fuel line... Not so much, many times need to find stuff, right style bolts, nuts...

You will need Oskar's help to hang the doors and trunk lid or risk chipping the paint.

oskar-137.jpg You´r correct. He is in Estonia now. His uncle was died. They are there in funeral.
Oskar take fast train from Helsinki to Seinäjoki on Sunday. He travel alone, mother is one week more there with relatives.

Next week he is help me, and 28th of this month we are open our coffee place in market place.
This year girls need to work there more. I try to work home, last 2 years I have worked too much.
In summer we are going to race one or two drag race. OK, my racecar is not fast, but 1965 GS Buick with 401 nailhead runs high 12sec and that is more fun for us.
Maybe we visit in few American car meeting, show...

Few months ago Oskar was check FHRA (Finnish Hot Rod Association rulebook. He asked if he can race 2026. Then he is 15y old and has possible to get Racelicense. I promised that he can race as much as he wants (finland, sweden), I can cook coffee, BBQ, check fuel and tirepressure, follow him to line up...

2weeks ago in small motorcycle show , where Oskar´s "new" Honda Monkey inspected like historical vehicle. Kari is do that. He asked tricky questions moped owner and same time Oskar joined member of VMPK (Historical Motorcycle Club.

NB. I need U-seal with lip to quarter and back window. I found nice seal (I have used same seal my ex. 1932 5w coupe) from UK. Company didnt want to send outside of UK. I asked many historic rallycar owners, wrote to this topic too,.... , if somebody who live in UK , can buy seal and ship to Finland.

Yesterday morning I remembered man who can help me. Clive in Stromberg carburetors. I send email to Clive. He promised to buy seal. and ship it with side-by-side linkage to Finland. He is nr 1 !

Cowl lid finally installed. Lid hinge rivets need to drill out etc.
Tomorrow morning I install final time all woods inside of body.
Today test bolted trunk lid on its place. Tomorow morning I remove it and fix little.

Column drop works fine. I was bought key blank from USA, now locksmith grind it ready. Original key was wear, good reserve key.

Today only 4hours in garage. Homeworks take so much time. Sunday I try to install driver side panel. Once more need to remomve woods. support bracket from horizontal wood to top wood need to straight and turn again. I did that pass side too.

Need to increase 3 woodscrew more, then already installed panel is on its place.

Quarter and rear window seal is bought from UK. Clive from Stromberg bought it and increased to same shipment where are my other stromberg parts.

Just worked in market place, fixed sales trailers etc. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday we have OK weather here, so no possible to split working day with garage working. End of weekend colder, then I can stay garage, worker is selling food there....

Just pushed outside and back inside. while, good to see all "faults" and how it looks outside, if see more far....

    Maybe red or red+cream pinstripes
I have beugler or somebody of those finnish pinstripers can do it. My skills are not good with brush and hand is shaking....

Your car is looking great! I’m wondering about your front axle and wishbone. Are they painted or powder coated silver, nickel or chrome plated?

    Thank You everybody.
We have rather much hot rods here if we think that only +5million people living in Finland.
In this city maybe 4-5 hot rod, American cars rather much.
Our driving season is only 4-5 month, so that is one big minus, if You own roadster. car with cab can be driven colder weather too even if not have heater.

Front axle is 1932 Heavy model which has been turned to 3 1/2" drop. I have grinded and sanded front axle, front wishbones and rear radius rods up to 2000 (wet). I sent those to Sweden. Micke in Dala Krom (Borlänge Swe) cromed those 6y ago. Now those are dirty. I fix those when car is ready.

I've been following your build, what a great job.
As far as pinstripes, the red would stick out and clash too much. I would leave it as is or go with the yellow/cream as in the seat pleats for stripes.
