Don't get too frustrated just yet, Scotty. My junk was in paint jail for damn near 10 years, and that was with me doing the work myself!!! LOL!!! :D:D:D So you've still got plenty of time!!! :D:rolleyes::eek::p;)

  3. You will like the Jeep power steering box. I put one on my 71 Cutlass and my 72 El Camino. That has to be the best inexpensive upgrade for an A body.

  4. Don’t be fooled by the fresh tape and paper

  17. Obviously i was a bit confused as to what was going on yesterday. I was getting pics from one guy and info from another. But as you can see clear is now on and looking great. Painter says cut and buff tomorrow. So i’ll get better pics with all the paper and tape off. It’s getting exciting now

As nice as that clear laid down, I'd think twice about dragging sandpaper over it! God Damn that thing is gorgeous!!!

Pictures hide a lot. I’m sure it will be even better after sanding and buffing. :D

Yea, hard to see the difference in pics, but taking out any hint of orange peel or trash makes all the difference in the world when it comes to finish and shine. I still hit clearcoat with 1000 grit wet first to completely flatten out the finish before working my way up to 2000 prior to buffing. The difference is definitely noticeable.

Oh, and looking better all the time! :D
