Hey guys first time long time

I’m wondering what master cylinder I should use for a current project. In the front I have a 98 3500 Chevy disc brakes. In the rear is a 89 international 4700 with disc brakes dual Piston calipers. Big guys
Any suggestions on what size master cylinder I should be using? I currently have the original 3500 master cylinder and 3/16 inch brake lines and have a soft pedal. I know it’s been talked about a lot, but I thought I would post what I’m using

  2. Non-power, 1" or smaller. Power, 1.125 or larger. With a soft pedal, I would be looking for air in the system.

A disk / disk master would be preferred.

  5. Is your Chevy master cyl for disc/disc or disc/drum? It makes a difference. My Chevy 1 ton has disc/drum and the M/C is 1 3/16" bore. Also it has 1/4" brake lines. I would use a master that matches your brake setup and vehicle weight
