Projects WOOD KITS , BRAD'S WOODSHOP

Discussion in 'Traditional Hot Rods' started by duncan, Oct 12, 2016.

  1. I just received the wood kit for the 34 Original Paint Coupe from Brad Brown at Brad's Woodshop in Friday Harbour WA. I just wanted to say that Brad makes a top notch product, beautifully finished and ready to use. He was a pleasure to deal with, and even though the order took a few weeks,( because he is busy and perfection doesn't happen over night) he kept me informed as to status of my order.
    I highly recommend him.

For over 30 years, Brad has been about the best wood guy in the Western US . When I worked for Magoo in the mid-eighties, I remember going just up the street to his shop in Canoga Park. He had hand built a wood skeleton for a very expensive European car for the J.B. Nethercutt/Merle Norman museum. I`m no woodworker, but the quality and flawless finish made my jaw hit the ground. Glad to see some customers of his now still feel the same way...

Have Brads cab wood and wood cab mounting blocks on my 32 PU the fit was great and the quality excellent. The mounting blocks that will never be seen were cabinet quality and his was the first cab wood I used in 4 pus that fit perfectly.

  5. Thanks for the note! Nice to see a positive report on a vendor . . . great work deserves applause and sometimes we all forget to do that.

Just wondering if Brads Wood is still operating. I purchased 34 ford roadster parts from him about 5 years back and need some 34 coupe timbers. Any help appreciated. Regards David

I bought a 32 roadster tack strip from him last fall. I believe he goes away for the winter, but should be back soon.
