1962 block, 1964 461 heads, 1963 Winters intake. etc. etc. etc.

I got mine back in the car last Saturday. Hopefully not too far from driving it again

 

I wrote 3/27/25 a dozen times throughout the day and each time thought of this thread.

Sounds like a crate motor!

 

I remember when those were available over the counter. Bought a fitted block for a 327 365 horse engine once. Closest thing to a crate motor for me! Bought a couple of new blocks also back in the day…

They came in crates, so doesn’t that mean they’re crate motors?
