We all know where a large majority of the reproduction old car parts both hot rod and antique are made. Looks like we better get our orders in before next Tuesday?

I've been shopping quite a lot lately anticipating for my current build and some of my next one, parts are getting shipped today.
Only one major part will be available in a couple month. I cancelled anything else that is back ordered and fortunately none were components I couldn't work around.
Hopefully won't be needing anything new for at least the next 5 years.

  4. Not so much where they are made but the suppliers are going to be hurting. Also it would make sense that parts that are vintage here start going up in value

Not only that that but I noticed hardware at the good old hardware store going up in price. But again where are they made?. Time to go get a parts car and use old nut and bolts even.

Depending on the way the tarriffs (tax) are implemented it may be cheaper to buy direct online from overseas suppliers. If its below your personal import allowance it may be tax free, even if the shipping costs are higher.

I expect ebay are already gearing up for this.

Alright, fellas—listen up. As much as I’m convinced the world is screaming toward the abyss in a flaming hand basket loaded with bad decisions and corporate sedatives, we don’t do politics here. Never have.

And this thread? It’s veering dangerously close to the edge—one more post and we’re knee-deep in talking points and tribal nonsense. So I’m killing it. Pulling the plug.

Take the political steam elsewhere. This joint runs on speed & power, not ideology.
