Picked up this today, going to use some parts from the AMT 57 and latest Revell versions to improve it a bit
As it turns out, I bought another real nice one. And, my younger brother had some of the parts I needed. He did cast a bumper spear for the rear and had it plated!!
This one had been sitting in my dads office since the beginning of time. 63 Mustang II show car . The kit wasn't that great but it turned out decent.
Just curious if I can spray a model of the car I painted last year using the leftover lacquer metallic automotive paint? If so, what is the best process for good results?
Use a good automotive primer to seal the plastic, as the paint could cause “crazing” or even melt it.
been a while since the last time I posted, built me a photo backdrop for finished builds. link to in progress pics https://public.fotki.com/62704/model-car-related-albums/hot-rod-garage/
Cold Sunday so I wandered around a huge toy show this morning. I like tow trucks and car hauler and have several. A friend found me this custom built plastic Model-T tow truck with a flathead engine. Nice little addition to my collection.
Nice build. I had a 1/1 in that color. I hope to recreate it soon in 1/25. I have this one in my stash. Thanks for the inspiration.
