Sure, what you call fun keeps me up at night looking for the little buggers. Just kidding, I enjoy your stuff and look forward to your art every Friday.

No wonder you did such a nice job of putting a set of 70-72 OAI hood pins on your metal 442 hood. I was in awe of the write up in Classic Oldsmobile. Those trophies are works of art......just not drawings. The gun is an old Devilbiss right MBC or JGA? Mine isn't that pretty but I will look at it differently. Good stuff!

    Hey @Bandit Billy
Well I am certainly not trying to out do your excellent, kick ass, paint gun trophy, because its a true work of art indeed !
But I have this older vintage Zenith console radio, that I have these dueling paint guns sitting on top of, with other cool elements that make a great composition.
Thanks from Dennis for the inspiration for me to add to, this great (FAS)

Thanks man! I love working with my hands and manipulating metal. I appreciate the compliments on the 442 hood. That was a fun project and was definitely more art, then restoration.

Love that old radio! I restore old jukeboxes from time to time. Cool era of americana. That syphon gun was my first paint gun. It shot a lot of cars but has been gathering dust for too long. Now it has a new life gathering dust in someone else's home.

  18. Comin in late. 1st is an old circa 1968 of an engine not too accurate. Next an old machinists tool box l use to store brushes. The last 2 pics are of a most unusual old business card made of aluminum! When this was made aluminum was almost as valuable as gold; due to the difficulty in extracting the ore. When better techniques were developed, the price plummeted. Not sure of the exact year, but this company was bankrupt in 1911.
