That looks like my old Thor #40 spray gun it was in the gas station my father bought in '48 it still sprays perfect

No wonder you did such a nice job of putting a set of 70-72 OAI hood pins on your metal 442 hood. I was in awe of the write up in Cl***ic Oldsmobile. Those trophies are works of art......just not drawings. The gun is an old Devilbiss right MBC or JGA? Mine isn't that pretty but I will look at it differently. Good stuff!

Well I am certainly not trying to out do your excellent, kick ***, paint gun trophy, because its a true work of art indeed !
But I have this older vintage Zenith console radio, that I have these dueling paint guns sitting on top of, with other cool elements that make a great composition.

Thanks man! I love working with my hands and manipulating metal. I appreciate the compliments on the 442 hood. That was a fun project and was definitely more art, then restoration.

 

Love that old radio! I restore old jukeboxes from time to time. Cool era of americana. That syphon gun was my first paint gun. It shot a lot of cars but has been gathering dust for too long. Now it has a new life gathering dust in someone else's home.

Comin in late. 1st is an old circa 1968 of an engine not too accurate. Next an old machinists tool box l use to store brushes. The last 2 pics are of a most unusual old business card made of aluminum! When this was made aluminum was almost as valuable as gold; due to the difficulty in extracting the ore. When better techniques were developed, the price plummeted. Not sure of the exact year, but this company was bankrupt in 1911.
