What would you stick in YOUR Merc??

I think the OG flattie with these heads would kick ***, add a gear vendors overdrive and put serious gears out back.

Or the Lincoln 12 would look cool and make people do double takes.


and if you wanted to go crazy, I wonder if one of these could somehow be made to fit and run.
I heard of people adapting the Merlin motor to cars after teh war, but I would have no clue where to get one or what would be involved.

i have heard too many stories from my friend that ran a shop in the 50's of doing caddy swaps into mercs. he says it was about a 6 hour job back then and would do 1 a week.

I got a 51 merc with the flatty along with it. Gunna put a buick 430 in it(just rebuilt one for a Piece of **** riviera) with a t10 4 speed. Want to save the Flatty for a roadster.

Put whatever you want in it, you don't have to open the hood if you don't want to. Mercs look better with the hood closed anyway.
