Dang that seems cheap. The link to the Ecklers tank was 58 bucks , but I suspect 200 shipping from them.

  4. Yeah yeah yeah..... after Mark sent that link, I went searching and ordered one from Amazon. Not worth my time to try to repair this one. But I did bring it off in the lot today! Not much room, so it was just a short display lol...
This car is gonna be so much fun :D 20250329_142158.jpg

  7. It's impressive, at least on my lot lol... I've only got rear brakes, so I'm a little timid lol.

In my experience, line locs work better with front brakes. But I have been known to be wrong...supposedly.

Are you sure you want the fuel fill and vent inside the car with you Mister Fireman?

  10. It will be under an access panel with the vent line ran somewhere else, un-vented cap, so yeah, I'm good with it. Not ever seen a drag car with a fuel cell in the trunk? Always somebody lol.... then when you stop posting here, the phone starts ringing, wondering why.

A 55 to 57 wagon fuel tank has been on the market place over here by me lately.

    Lloyd,

Should you decide to buy this tank I can bring it to Lloydfest III. Or better yet James can come and bring it with him.

It's in Mexico for 25 bucks, claims to have come from a 57 and mention of a vent to that note.

  21. I cut all of the floor and rear braces out. And with the shock setup I put in it, a stock tank wouldn't work lol

  22. I appreciate it brother but I'm all good, well as good as you'd expect lol...

When I was a dumb *** kid, I bought a 63 Impala SS at the police impound auction for 185 bucks. The tank was rusty and I was broke and worked less than a mile from home. I ran the fuel line from the inlet on the pump to the windshield washer bottle (about 1/2 gal) and drove it to work like that all summer.....

  26. Yeah i never got any smarter brother lol... for years I had a lawnmower gas tank that I used for temp services on every car I built, I think I lost it in my second divorce :D

    Wow, that thing sounds good!

What's in it for a cam (if you mentioned it I definitely missed it)?
