I want to find a single groove crank pulley if at all possible for my 302, but its a later model with the 4 bolt balancer. What year did Ford start using the 4 bolt instead of the 3? Anyone know a particular Ford that would have had such a pulley? Obviously a non-power, non-ac, pre-smog.

Will a pulley from other Ford engines fit the small block?

    I took one off a mid 80's Ford F-150 ... 4 bolt
The man at the junk yard said they are hard to find ( in fact he said he was OUT ) but I found one ... :)

  5. I've alwayse found the 289 to be a 3 bolt pully and 302 - 351w to be 4 bolt. Not saying they all are but holding true so far.
