The doors and dashboard say 3 window cut into a roadster.

Looking at those other pictures I see the dash is custom, the first photo made the top of the dash look like a ‘32 3W dash.

I’m still leaning toward Ford 3W but the panel below the deck lid was modified, and the middle hinge on a 3W was lower than the one on that car. Tops of quarters look correct for 3W with no reveals next to deck lid.

  9. I'm thinking it's a 32 Plymouth PB. HRP

  10. 1) If it is a '32 Ford, it's been channeled, which skews the proportions.

    2) A 3w coupe front door edge is more slanted than this one's.

    3) That cowl screams Mopar, not Ford.

Looks almost like a Euro '32 sedan converted to roadster with loose proportions.

look at proportions of a 3 window, - angle of leading edge of door is different, - distance from rear vertical edge of door to rear wheel swage is totally different, cowl too flat, etc etc.

looking at photos on Facebook, I wonder if the whole thing is possibly hand made.
Lack of original style internal framing is why I think this, and the different proportions.
I don’t see anything that looks like a ‘32 ford, apart from maybe the fenders, and even they look not quite right.

    Hello,

The roadster looks good. It is located in an "older" neighborhood that is mostly retirement folks and seniors of all ages. So, it may be that it is being sold, since they cannot drive it anymore or is a part of an estate being liquified.

The cost seems like a good start for someone wanting something different, but put together for a starting point. The other photos also look good. It looks like it is located in a hot rod garage of sorts with tools, equipment and other stuff... YRMV

  15. Neither. Simple reason if a Euro or Aussie Ford was good enough to ship to U.S.A. with all the associated costs it would,nt end up like this one.

More pictures would help. Reminds me of a '32 five window that came up years ago. Turned out to be a '32 Teraplane mounted on a Model A frame that was boxed with wood.

None of that is 32 Ford, except maybe the fenders.

“Original steel body” original to what? At least no 32 fords were harmed in this creation , although clever .

I’m not an expert by any means but the cowl looks off to me. It’s more squared off than a Ford cowl

For comparison purposes, found this 31 Plymouth on FB locally.

I didn't say it was just that it looked like : body line is wrong but the door and cowl looks almost correct, it's most likely a scratch build body with '32 fenders.

I'm with Clem and Dwollam, this looks like someone made it, based off of pictures because they didn't have an actual body to take measurements off of.

And that description sounds like they wrote 10 words and then had an AI fluff it up with salesman language.

It's not a bad attempt at a homemade body, and honestly, $19K isn't terrible, if the engineering of the chassis is good, that could actually be worth it to the right buyer, even with a mostly custom/homemade body.

It just isn't what they are claiming it is.
