Ive already gotten the needed parts. I just need someone to straighten the fender and repaint the white I hope. Its not a show car just a nice driver. Its had a repaint probably 20 years ago and its base clear already.

Looks like they need to realign the hood and door gap or is that an optical illusion? Did someone back into it? Looks like the headlight ring needs touched up as well. It is certainly fixable, but there is a little bit involved to fix it right. The side and brow trim needs to come off to straighten and paint it properly. I'd want to take the side grill trim off as well if I was painting it. The white might need to be blended onto the hood, door, and cowl panel if they don't get a perfect color match. Any good body and paint guy should be able to do all of that. Do you have the info on the paint they used? That would make it easier to get a compatible paint type and match if it isn't still available.

If your daily driver was damaged, where would you take it for a body and paint repair?

Well see thats the problem. The body shop ive always used closed up about 6 months ago. Thankfully I havent needed one till now. I bought the car with the fender damage already done. Ive called a couple of other local shops that came highly recommended and they dont even wanna talk about working on a car like this so.... Thats why i posted here hoping someone may know someone. Thanks

how much is a undamaged fender to replace your damaged fender? (not including labor and paint)

you could use a 55 fender if need be.

I hope he isn’t in any of the areas where all the tornadoes went through yesterday evening and through today. If he was he will need one helluva body man. We had our ***es handed to us last night and they are expecting up to 15”+ of rain

Awe it ain’t over yet, we are going to be having more severe storms starting tonight and going into Sunday morning. We have already had 7” of rain at my house as of this morning and expecting another 6”+ tomorrow plus winds gusting over 50+ mph. But today we are having a lull but with the temperatures getting up to the 80’s all it’s going to do is add fuel to the fire.

Im in Pleasant View which is about halfway between Nashville and Clarksville on the map. Thankfully we havent had any damage from the storms but the area has been hit hard.

Man I’m glad to hear that!! I need to go to Linden to check on my other house and land, my nephew said that a tornado was spotted near there and ran through some of the hollers close by so hopefully no damage.
