I read some where that they used a f1 box????if I use a rotated mustang...what about the pitman arm??? I wanna do cheep and easy and don't mind doing a little fab work.. and don't need the model a levers or light switch

  3. 32-34 box is a bolt in with a model A sector housing. F1 is decent. F100 is decent. What engine?

  4. There's a guy here in California that modifies F100 steering boxes for model As to be a direct bolt in. I started doing my own, but it's still in the works. F100 box, need to modify the foot, the steering shaft length, the steering shaft threaded area for the A wheel and the pitman shaft for the A arm. The other mods are for the A stuff at the end of the box.

IF I remember correctly the F100 is preferred over the F1 as the F100 puts the column in the same spot (in the column drop), the F1 is lower.

I put a shorter Pittman arm on mine and it felt like power steering.
