Looking forward to this! For a while this was the best event in the Midwest bar none. They announced this same thing a couple years ago then backed out, hopefully this one will happen…..
Hopefully this won’t be a one and done reunion event. I’d be happy if it just happens every other year. It’s a lot of work and effort to put on a successful event such as “The Meltdown”. Organizers/Volunteers should have fun and not have this seem like work.
Heck Yeah..... great show. The spectator gate numbers were ridiculous.. haven't seen that many people since 70s Dragway 42. Bet we can get some Tri Five Jr Stkr's

I hope they can pull it off. Would love to come back and spectate if nothing else. From the 2012 edition. Yes, it was that long ago....
Clothier Racing will be there in 2026. Three brothers and one nephew. "Doc" Larry, (59 Impala), "Hot Rod" Bob, (57 BelAir Sport Sedan), "Torkwrench" John, (black 55), and "Fire Fighter" Chuck, (blue / white 55). We'll also be at the 2025 Spring Nostalgia Drags at Havana ILL. The Out-A-Sight Drags in Union Grove Wis. Glory Days in Byron, and The Fallout Drags in Eau Claire Wis. Additionally, Bob, myself, and perhaps Chuck will be racing at this year's Tri Five Nats. in Bowling Green Kentucky. However, I'll have to reinstall my front bumper to run Jr. Stock at Bowling Green.
