    NOPE!
Confidence is high, that @rusty1 fooled us this week, upon close inspection, no aliens were detected!

  3. Another fantastic rendering from the GURU NORWELL ABOVE THE 49TH PARALLEL STUDIOS. Had to yank it off the shop wall to get a good pic. Thanks Jeff!
    Also a few vintage paint distributors that are art in themselves. IMG_20250404_181531.jpg IMG_20250404_190533.jpg IMG_20250404_190547.jpg IMG_20250404_190518.jpg IMG_20250404_190440.jpg IMG_20250404_190414.jpg

I'm not giving up. Check out the tops of the air cleaners on the 40 pickup. Those look like alien eyes to me. Could be thumb screws for the cleaners, but I don't think so. Sure glad rusty give us some great art with a challenge.

The bottom two spray guns look like the spray gun that came with our Eureka vacuum cleaner. You attached the hos to the vacuum exhaust and attached the gun to the end of the hose and it would spray paint. He used to buy, fix up and sell early 1950's Chevrolets (and a few other GM cars) to turn some bucks to help us pay for things. The paint jobs looked OK (Mainly black cars....LOL). When I got older, I helped him out! This was in the late 1950's and early 1960's! Mostly good times and great memories. I painted most likely my last car last summer!

Good eye! There are actually 3 vacuum cleaner guns; 2 in pic 4 and 1 in pic 5. One is an Electrolux. I attempted my first paint job with an Electrolux gun in 1957 at the age of 13. Needless to say successful was not a word l would use to describe the outcome. An apt description would be a 50 Mercury that resembled a giant melting tomato!

    Hey @3quarter32
As stated, upon very close inspection, no aliens were added this week. And I did look very closely at the tops of the dual air cleaners and I came to the conclusion, that those are just squiggles, that appear to be wing nuts, to hold down the air cleaners and NOT alien fingers, so we shall have to wait for confirmation from @rusty1.
He is pretty consistent about the way he draws the aliens.
    "Everyone's results, may vary greatly"
    Thanks from Dennis.

I'll applaud you willingness to search, but must note the followung
Looking back to previous weeks I find that while the images may seem wavey or blurry,,, there are
    standards,
First they all appear from behind cover, not out in front.
Second they all share the same four features.
These are a tuft of hair, a long nose, eyeballs with pupils, pronounced ears.

  17. Good stuff. Thank you!

  18. @Jeff Norwell , I too am honored to have a piece of @Jokem59 Joe’s art gracing my wall, very prominently. I see it every day and it reminds me of his most generous nature. I almost tossed the packaging he mailed it in last week but, as we will soon be moving, and it, alone, is so nicely crafted, I kept it to pack the art right back in it for safe keeping.

I have a print signed by the talented Charlie Smith, who I had the privilege of meeting in 2013, in Kansas City.

The print of my home parish, growing up, hangs below a beautiful laser-cut gifted to me by my old friend and former art printer, Hank.

Then there is this killer print I picked up at the “Hot Rod Hillclimb” so I am officially “Norwell Equipt”.

    But I also

    Also, the original “Coupe’d Up”

    And “Chic ‘n Coupe”

    Hey @Jigger
Hey Mark, first of all thank you for posting up a very good set of pictures of your work space / office.
To me, one of the more interesting elements, of us all sharing our various pieces of artwork and other creations is simply this, its fun, at least to me to examine the little details.

The weekly alien hunt that happens sometimes from @rusty1 is a prime example of the treasure hunt for small details.

So I made a list of things that stood out to me in the second picture of your work space, I just found them to be interesting. Its amazing what I can examine with the help of a linked IPAD to my computer.

Here is the list, thanks from Dennis.

    1. Important lady's picture on shelf under the wave picture.
    2. 4 medicine bottles, 3 on left side of the monitor and the other one on the right side.
    3. Pontiac stuff everywhere.
    4. 4 crucifixes.
    5. 1 Jesus fish.
    6. The 300 Simpsons episode sticker.
    7. Custom cup holder with slot cut for handle of glass jar.
    8. Obvious neatness and organization of everything !
    9. The interesting "Behold your Mother" book.
    10. Vintage Thermos bottle on floor.
    11. Dazed and Confused item in the original package unopened.
    12. Cool palm tree lamp.
    13. Red armature with adjustable arms with alligator clips.
    14. Big flatbed scanner.
    15. Mystery package and contents next the remotes.
    16. Triple cross book marker hanging on wall.
    17. Rosary hanging next to mystery ball on red string.
    18. The Thrush book.
    19. Yellow post it note on monitor with letters T C S T P U .
    20. Model car tire stuck to monitor upper right hand corner.
    21. Mystery contents of trash can under small wood table.
    22. Puerto Rico wave sticker.
    23. Old school LUXO drafting lamp with big transformer base.
    24. Mystery old document hanging on wall, with mystery necklace hanging on it.
    25. Potential Christopher Lloyd character on the T.V. monitor, points awarded to those that can name the movie that was being watched !

So far I could not identify one alien hiding in the room.
So to keep with the cool Pontiac stuff, here is a cool Pontiac medallion on an exhaust tip.

  21. Jeff and Mark,

I am honored for your continuing appreciation and displaying of my artwork. It makes my continued creation of artwork and participation in the Friday art shows all worth while. Thanks to everyone for all the likes each week and thanks to all who have a piece of my art work and continue to display it as well.

    Best regards,
