Event Coverage Andys Picnic, Crow Canyon Park, 1977, old pics...

Sorry to post here after all these years but I am putting together a piece of "Memory Art" and I did a google search on Andy's Picnic and found this thread. Yep, these are my photos from 1977 at Andy's Picnic. My 48 Chevy pickup one week after painting it on the first of Aug. And my brother's Model A I painted a few months before while in High School. What memories, OHHHHHHH what memories! I am working on that same truck in my garage today.

I got this done and up on the wall today. I recently found the dash plaque and this hit me.

 

MARTINSR, when Andy's moved to Vallejo years later, a guy was coming in driving what he said was a 48 Chevy Pickup, The guy at the gate wouldn't let him in, he said, "this truck has two wipers, a 48 Chevy truck doesn't have two wipers". I don't know what the outcome of that was. That's great you still have the dash plaque. I was at that Andy's picnic.
