My name is Ron, and I live in Virginia. I am retired, currently building a nineteen fifty mercury. I'm in the early stages, right now I'm finishing up a frame and floor replacement. I used a ninteen ninety four cadillac fleetwood as a donor, I shortened the frame two inches, at the rear torque box. Right now I am grafting the rear crossmember of the mercury frame to the cadillac frame so I can use the mercury bumper. After I have finished, I will remove the frame from the body and sandblast and refinish the frame with por-15. Also The floor of the body needs calking and por-15 on the underside. I hope to use this forum for information concerning paint, upholstery, and running gear. I already have an engine, a 350 stroker. Thanks, Ron
Welcome to the HAMB, Ron. I'd be interested in seeing some pictures and hearing a little more about that build. Post 'em up after you figure out the ropes here on the board. JOE
