Technical 1934 Ford Question

    On a 34 four door sedan behind the rear seat on the floor is 2 hinges. I've seen it on a couples of cars. What are they for ?

    Hinges are attached to rear seat back and allow one to store clothes and/or tools back there !

    my 33 tudor has them too,i always thought they were something that was added,not OEM stuff.Guess ill use them for the same thing now that i know.

    There should be a cabinet style catch o the top to latch it on the top also
