you search for them for a Belair, and you get truck results?

    not surprising....

but yeah, they are probably just as "correct" for your car, as they are for the truck. Good luck.

(they hold the fixed metal piece around the window, to the division bar channel, right? And the weatherstrip on the front of the division bar)

  2. Yes and replace the pivot rivet you drill out to replace the rubber. That's what the two rivets with shoulders are for in the listing

If you're not getting the gl*** frame rechromed, might be able to leave the pivots alone? it's been a long time since I worked on vent windows, though.

  4. I thought about that. But the lower pivot goes through the rubber. And guys with a lot more 53/54 Chevy experience have told me that if you slit the rubber to cheat it will for sure leak.

Plus I already have one torn down and repainted lol IMG_20250402_075938.jpg

Do you mean between the gl*** and the curved metal frame? That takes setting tape.

The division bar (the long piece the vent is riveted to) takes those pieces you linked to. The front edge of the door gl*** slides up and down in them.

  8. Yeah I was meaning on the division bar where gl*** slides. Link didn't give measurements or specific applications so I wasn't sure it was the correct one or not.

measure the old one....you do keep all the old parts, eh?

  10. Yeah I'm a bit of a hoarder lol. I was looking on the rubber the right way site comparing the measurements to my old one but they were all to big for the wing gl*** divider. Guess I could always just order the ones in the link and send back if wrong lol

  11. As to my hoarder situation......part of why I could justify getting the 54 when I was still working on the 53 is I already had a bunch of parts leftover from the 53 to fill in the gaps on the 54 lol

The gl*** channel will work for division bar. Take the bar to the upholstery supply an be sure it fits snug. Go to Ace hardware and get the rivets. You can use pop rivets but you drive the nail out after you set the rivet. Then mash the rivet. Practice on a couple
