Hot Rods Pics wanted Chrysler hemi 33 34 ford firewall motor compartment

I sure would appreciate seeing some 33 34 Ford motor compartments with a Chrysler Firepower squeezed in there. It will help seeing the firewall mods folks are doing. My tape measure says my firewall has got to move back 5.5". Thanks

 

I don’t have any pics but it just felt like commenting. In around 1960, chrome firewalls were a big deal. You could make the part you have to cut out and move back out of chrome steel or polished aluminum. I have used polished aluminum sheets to make things like this before. It’s easy to work with and it looks great. Everybody thought it was chrome.

 

Use a 35-36 ford pickup firewall. Look for the FE in a 34 ford thread. I posted some pictures of a car with a hemi that used that firewall.
