Current project… A little farther along now, in the process of ruining a bunch of hard line in order to get about 4 feet of properly-ish bent fuel line.

In 1970 I had a car powered by a street Hemi because of hood clearance for dual 4s I milled the top off the manifold and used a plate made for a Holley 3 barrel the car drove better ran faster and got better milage than the stock setup. I like the addage keep it simple

Edelbrock TR1X with Holley 660 center squirters. This was the second firing, about three minutes runtime total. Obviously still need lots of tuning, but the trip has just begun.

I bought this intake set up about a year ago (despite not owning a SBC), because I love it. I guess I will have to do another car so it gets used. Actually, it is being stored by a mate abour 400 miles away, as I havent got around to collecting it.

While building my dodge 241 I became a little obsessed with collecting multi carb hemi intakes. Started with my Offy 3x2 (current running setup using carbs from my next find)
    IMG_8583.jpeg

Then I discovered the Weiand 4x2 and was fortunate enough to score one locally that was beautifully polished with 4 97’s setup with a progressive linkage, which unfortunately won’t work with this type of manifold, but I robbed a primary and both secondaries for my offy

Then I found a drag star 6x2 with all the carbs/linkage that I ‘just had to’ have

And finally last year I picked up this sweet piece, the elusive Edelbrock X3 ‘tarantula’ for one of my Chrysler Hemi’s, someday..

I saw a great quote here on the HAMB somewhere while researching the X3, it said “Even carburetor experts don’t use 6x2 manifolds, they hang them on the wall” ha, still makes me chuckle.

    Carburetors can be troublesome
Having more than one multiplies a few options
I believe like having more than one woman in bed
the outcome can be very exciting

well-would that be 'many folds' instead of 'manifolds'?
