Hello,

Last month, I was able to find and post a film/photo I was unable to remember for all of this time since 1959. It was taken by me at the December 1959 Riverside Raceway East Versus West Drag Meet that was one of the largest gathering not a National event. As things go, back then as a teenager, I probably knew who it was, what is was and how fast they won their races all over So Cal. But, as things get shoved aside, I had no clue when I got the 16mm color films digitized many years later.

Identifying the top racers back then was easy being a teenager. But, as the normal everday drag racing that we all knew and loved waned for many folks, the names just melded into the past…
