I had a nice 66 Nova around 1987. original owners grandson had it. original dark green paint, nice interior after I had the seats done, 194/powerglide, the slowest car I have ever owned. no digital pics. got top dollar when I sold it for $2500.00 a couple years later .... I don't know what they go for now ... $10,000.00 ?? more?

here's a couple from Pleasanton Goodguys last August. this guy looked like he was on one of those drive and drag road trips.

That sure looks like the Chevy II from British Columbia, recall seeing it (or a twin) at Puyallup Good Guys waaay back.

The Tin Indian appears to be the Acadian Invader (Canadian) version of the Chevy II.

Good eye @DDDenny! Campaigned for Knafel Pontiac by Larry 'Doc' Dixon, later of modified eliminator fame. This little Canadian deuce impersonator sported a healthy 427! Doc also wheeled one of the (3?) Tin Indian GTO's in the Knafel stable.

Through squinted eyes it looks to be Suffolk Raceway, I had to look it up as that car with a 427 would not have fit in NHRA'S SS class format, was thinking maybe AHRA but it says NHRA was the sanctioning body.

Not sure on the sanctioning body or track. Could be eastern Canada somewhere.
