Folks Of Interest Oval track hot rodders? Can it be? Just ask Rick Hendrick (Hendrick Motorsports)

  1. Despine the current option there is a long history and connection between hot rods and oval track racing!

    If I would have been 10 years older, my start in hot rods would have been dirt track racing those old coupes. As it was, the coupes days were well gone, so my starting point for the dirt track was with a 69 Plymouth Road Runner. My biggest achievent was to provide a competive car as a starting point for several new drivers to move up into the Late Model class at our local track.

  3. I went to the Hendric collection and was surprised he didn't have any early to mid thirties cars. I wonder if he still has that coupe somewhere?

  5. Unfortunately it hasn’t been restored it has been modernized and Tech-NO! Rodded.
