Mag Needle, man that would go great with my Frammis rod and my Benson Brake bar, now if I can just find a Hydra Sonic Gumside I will be good to go.
I had no idea what they were talking about until I said it in my head REAL SLOW. Too bad that engine is missing the 710 cap.
HAHAHA. Reminds me of my college days. Had a guy turn in a paper on "Amino Acids." The ***le on his cover sheet read " Mean Old Acids." I don't think he graduated. Doc.
"This has a gl*** bowl for the filter which seems to be intack." Wow.....a Mag Needle and the gl*** bowl for the filter is "intack"!?!?! This guy is sitting on a gold mine.
I notice the actual mag needle isn't quite visible in the pics...so watch out. Tomorrow someone is going to post..."I bought this junk flathead with rust all over it on Ebay, and it turned out to have a Harmon Collins Magneedle and a brand new 286 stroker ***embly and an intack gl*** bowl with Barney Navarro's name cast into it and..."
I am thick.. Didnt get it at all till you guys tipped me off. Now whos going to be the smart *** and respond to the guy telling him he couldnt find a mag needle in a haystack if he wanted.
I searched for what was probably a full two minutes until I started repeating in my head, "Mag Needle, Magneedle, magneedle, Oh damnit I get it."
This is why I come on this forum, to learn the proper names of equipment used on these fathead engines.
But were are the very rare cad plated muffler bearings??. It's gotta have a pair of them to be worth anything.
Its too bad we all can't run his auction up to some crazy amount and then hold him to delivering a flatty with a Mag Needle! Thats the cruel in me coming out...funny ****. I just p***ed on this listing a few days ago and didn't think much more about it, but now I keep checking it for a revised version and posted comments. I bet the counter has rolled over by now. Somebody ask this guy what brand the Mag Needle is. Kurt
Now if only he had a vintage "Stahl" converter for it. I hear those Stalh converters are great for racing
