    INSPIRATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Third shot below, back at the house after the 4th of July Parade, YOUNG AND OLD.
From their 20s to their 90s [yes 90s].
The last three shots, Don, a retired pilot, has a 32 roadster and a white T-Bird.
He just turned 90, he had his GIRLFRIEND drive his T-Bird while he drove his roadster.
We see him every Friday at our Friday Night Gathering too.
See that? There's hope for all of us,
    Mick

Not sure how I missed this thread for so long! Glad @J.Ukrop saw it because it made me think of him right away.

I love all the blue versions and that you still have it in the road!

I used to drag race at Half Moon Bay, Ca. in the early 1960s.
I had Andy Brizio [Andy's Instant Ts and Roy Brizio's Dad] as my flag starter.
In later years they used the HMB tower at as training center for the HMB Fire Dept, what a shame.
My senior year in high school was in 1964, check out the hairdos back then [I didn't take the photos].

Half Moon Bay Bakery was owned by Andy and Mark Andermahr.
They had photos of many of the cars that raced at that track all over the walls of the bakery.
Mark had a steel yellow Willys coupe but passed away.
    His nephew Robert acquired the car and is now a regular at our Friday Night Gathering;
he also attends out burger runs, etc.
    Here's a few shots...

The wife and I saw the yellow Willys when Mark Andermahr owned it while we were at the drags at Sears Point
in 1995, recently showed this to the current owner [Robert].

We visited the HMB bakery and took these shots of the inside [posed earlier].

Here's a couple of coupes from Champion Speed Shop back in the day.
Andy's shop was right behind [and to the left] of Champion Speed Shop.
We attended Andy's Picnic years ago.
    Here's Andy's C Cab in a recent photo,

More on SF, there's a bar at 3954 Geary St [Richmond District] that I used to frequent.
    It's called Fizzee's.
They have an altered on the wall, injected sbc, pretty cool.

I've had several 392 Hemi engines.
I used some for fabrication trade off and others I sold.
It's good to have a guard dog protecting these cars,
    my Dobie looked ferocious but was a big baby;
on the other hand our little fella Joey looks like a push over but
    wants to kill the mailman...

A local youngster had a Plymouth Valiant station wagon with a slant 6.
He picked up a small blower somewhere and asked if I could adapt it
    to his engine.
    I told him sure...
he dropped the engine off at the house, I modified a phenolic spacer
    lined up the pulleys, etc.
He stuck it back in his car and was happy with the improved performance.

I also made a steel plate to support the weight of the blower.

Hi Mike, good to hear that you're on here!
    The ladies, no idea.
I'm a member of the West Coast Willys Club and one of the fellow members had posted that a long time ago.
    Had to keep it!

We've been meeting every Friday night [except in the winter] for the past 20 years.
    Used to be 100+ plus cars but has since thinned down but still happening;
    maybe 29-30 cars nowadays.
My wife and our friend Brian has been running it all this time...

We're so fortunate, we go on a lot of burger runs and our friends always meet here at the house
    then head out.
Here's a shot at a deli in Clayton that a bunch of us "cruised" to,
then another at a restaurant in Concord.

Another hot rod day, two Model A coupes came by to visit on the same day.
I can tell by the garbage can being out front.
    One stock, one not.

Saint Patrick's Day [March 17th] three weeks ago, we took the wife's 34 to Moto-Visons
fabrication shop for their car show in San Ramon, Ca.
They have a handful of shops in one location, talk about eye candy.
A lot of beautiful cars showed up but for some reason Elaine's car was a big attraction.
A female artist chose her car to draw with a lot of onlookers watching.
The Mama was presented with this cool plaque, made her day.
Guess we'll have to frame the drawing.

Had the car at the Benicia Car Show, nice setting.
Later we had the coupe there as well.
Check out the Mopar intake on the sedan, cool!

This fella pictured, John, drives this Hemi powered hot rod to our Friday Night Gatherings.
He also drives a salt flat car [streamliner] to well over 250mph.
I'll get more info on him soon, attached...
