Hi I got a 1935 ford cab and it came with doors that look different from I see that I can get inner lower patch panels for. Does anyone know what year these are and where i can get lower inner door patch panels for them thanks
I had them on the cab. They fit fine. Just looking for some Info on the year so I can get some inner patch panels for it
Are your window moldings separate from the door(have screws holding them in) these would be 35 doors. 36-37 doors had moldings that were part of the door frame. I can't tell from the pix if yours screw in or not. I'm not sure of any other difference.
The OP has '35 doors. Removable garnish molding to install the gl***. 36-37 the gl*** goes in thru the opening on the lower inner panel. Dimensionally they are the same. The repop patches are for the 36-37 doors, so they have the cut out section, but will work fine
Hi So I looked I believe everywhere for these inner patch panels.with no luck. Does anyone have a contact of someone or so company that does? I checked all the companies you see online. Nothing any help would be appreciated Thanks
They may be NLA. A lot of the companies making patch panels seem to have disappeared. Did you check with EMS?
Biggest easiest way for me to determine difference in 35 and 36-37 doors is laters have a place to place your fingers to help close the doors in the lower center of the widow opening
Early 35 doors had the removable screw attached inside window frame. Later the same year the door pull was made as part of the inside structure and no longer removable. My 35 pu has the latter 35 doors.
there are actually 4 different doors for the 35-37 trucks.early 35 has the removable window frames. after that each year had small differences. I think I only have 4 of those trucks now
