    The wheels and how they are placed in the wheel opening or for a fenderless
    hot rod, against the body, is 75% of the whole appearance of a car.
    Give or take a few percent. No matter what you do to a car, small or big
    changes, it all comes down to this simple rule. Running non-estetic wheels on
    a car makes them look real bad.

    A 1950's style hot rod with radials = NO
    A new Mustang with bias = NO

    Wheel = tire and rim

    The Wheels are 16"x 4" Spacesaver spares from a Jeep Cherokee (also found in Grand Cherokee), Bolt pattern is 5 x 4½", back space is 2".

    The tires are used Harley Davidson Dunlops I found in the tire dumpster behind a motorcycle shop.

    The size D402 MT90HB16" Rear Tire w/Harley Sidewall WWW Mfg.#: 301991 and are dual wide, whitewalls.

    They cost about $115 brand new.

    As for the gas door lid, I can't remember the exact year but it out of an early sunbird or cavalier
