Looking at all that precious iron back in the day makes one realize so many of us were asleep at the wheel, should have been on the coast reaping the harvest !

I swore I wouldn't touch this car until I get the one in front of it completed, but I had a little time today and decided to at least give it a small amount of attention. Nothing major, mostly just started cleaning it up. I can't wait to do some paint correction to even out the paint and get it back to looking cohesive and shiny again.

Just a quick cleanup did a lot for it:

I couldn't resist lining the other two 32 Fords up with it for a quick "family photo" too:

I also pulled the plugs and started oiling down the cylinders and a few other small things to get it ready for a basic mechanical refreshing after sitting. I'm looking forward to getting started, but I have to stay focused for now.

What an amazing find! It looks like it was in a time capsule. You've got a great plan, it will be a fun one.
Just make sure you park it where you can't see it when you're working on the other project- it will be trying to lure you away every time you look over at it, lol.
