Thanks for posting this latest newsletter for all of us Scott. This is all good news!

I used to get these newsletters and now I don't, even though I'm a lifetime subscriber. (Really makes one wonder what's going on at the TRJ world headquarters.)

I made a request to be resub'd to the newsletter... so far, crickets.

  5. Thanks! I will post them here any time I receive them.
I know Steve has been short staffed with customer service all while trying to get organized with getting new content for the mag and sorting out folks that are owed mags and merch. Only thing I can think of is to try sending an email requesting to receive the newsletter or if you have an address change.

I bought a life time subscription and only received ONE Rodger Journal but they neglected to tell me that one had to last my life time. Very Disappointed

Quite odd. I was a Lifer with the first offer and have gotten every issue published to date.

  8. You just gotta keep emailing them and put your initial contact and mailing address in there. He may have had issues with the server when they relocated. Don’t give up! They are working on making things right!

This is THE thread that Steve/TRJ could use to inform us, the target market of his business and purchasers of his product, about what's happening.

Just a little reassurance about how things are progressing, and how to contact him regarding issues not received, changes of addresses and so forth will go a long way towards rebuilding faith in the company.

For the fantastic book that it is, no customer service is not the way to rebuild your business after all that has happened over the last few years.

I've stood by the product all through thick and thin. Other rodders have thrown in the TRJ towel and sold their collection out of disappointment and frustration.

Please take this on board, Steve. Come to the party, communicate on this medium, and other forms of social media. Emails to those on your list may not he enough. In time it'll be worth it, your business will continue to flourish, and you'll reclaim the reputation you once held.

Excellent idea, Steve has obviously put his heart and soul into this wonderful book and needs to be supported 110% by the Hot Rod community(that is us)! So the haters just need to sit back and S.T.F.U.!

  21. Did you write ‘Where’s My Stuff?’ In the subject line? They are swamped. Did you not read their message I posted?

  27. I emailed as I am in Australia.........I am unaware that I should be so blunt as to say "Wheres my Stuff.....nor do I recall seeing your post directing me to be so blunt............my family purchased a subscription for me 3 months ago so I am led to believe and all I was asking was someone to confirm that I do in fact have a subscription.......my apologies if I have upset the applecart...........Andy Douglas

The "Where's my stuff" remark was a request from The Rodders Journal them selves, this was posted further up the page, it's all good, we are all wanting the mag because it's one of the best hot rod magazines in print (ever?) we've spent money on it & we want them to succeed. Honestly I don’t have much hope for RJ. Looking at past history production is far behind what was planned. I was in Louisville in 1994 when Coonan announced his publication, didn’t subscribe then but I did early in 1995. By my count there should have been something like 120 issues to date, and although Covid supply chain problems have been mentioned that’s a stretch. Production as a quarterly was spotty long before Covid and I’ve said it before, I think one of his problems was moving to the high rent district in Northern California.
IIRC RJ #86 came about a year ago and 87 was suggested to be in the mail a month (or was it more?) ago. I did get a response to an email regarding my subscription status and I’m current through #88. I’ll not be re-upping, the whole thing has lost its intrigue for me. Great content and superb photography just isn’t enough, we deserve customer service and more than promises.
The cheerleaders can flame away, but everyone is entitled to their opinion.
