    Those are likely foundry numbers.

What is the context where it is being used?

If it is not acceptable for the board, start a private conversation.

Responding to this on the non-OT forum violates board rules.

There are two models of power steering racks commonly found on MII suspension.

The first is an original MII power rack. Since it has a Ford marking on it, that's probably what you have.

Those have been out of production for 40-years, and will likely be impossible to find.

The other one (in two models) won't have a Ford logo on it, most likely, as they are made by a Ford supplier, not Ford.

Those are the circa 1986-1988 Ford Thunderbird power racks. They are out there in 3.0 turns, and 2.5 turns (you don't want that one).

Those operate at higher pressure, like a steering box, so you can use an unmodified Saginaw pump with them.

They are the ones now used on modern kits.

Hoses u-joints, and pressure aside, they are close to fitting.

The mounting bolts are about 1-inch farther apart. If you have an older crossmember, you will need to cut off the p***enger side mount, and move it.

This is the reason that modern kits have a slotted p***enger side mount:

If this is the case, it would be to your benefit to make the modifications to use a more modern rack.

Be aware that those have been out of production for about 25-years, too.
