My brother and I were early Bobby Langley, from Texas, race car fans. We only saw it in the early drag news and other photos. The FED just had the look that only a few race cars out West had the same styling... A full streamlined body. All it would need is a clear plexiglass cockpit cover, gearing, and it would be ready for Bonneville or the El Mirage Races...IF ONLY

When his group finally, decided to head West to complete in the 1959 big event at Riverside Raceway in December, we could not miss this local appearance. It was the drag event to cap off a great 1959 year.

I was able to capture some of those races at the 1959 Riverside meet and the 2nd annual Bakersfield Smokers Meet the following March of 1960.
