yes I was there I had just bought my first Willy’s sedan and was hoping to buy some parts for it but being a 25 year old who just got out of college I couldn’t afford much but I did get a good set of door handles that was the most Willy’s I had ever seen at one time it was awesome

Wrenchbender, I see you're from Missouri and probably used to tornadoes, I'm not!
That was pretty nuts but I've never seen so many cool cars ever.
    We had a great time,

What a great looking 33' and especially without the front fenders being cut. I just never understood why that was done on early 30's Willys. Nothing like running air directly into and trapping it in the fender well!

that's Fremont Drag Strip. Del Rio had a bunch of race cars and a custom paint shop in Hayward. I bet those brand new El Camino's came from Central Chevrolet.

He had to restore the original fender contour to remain NHRA legal.

that’s Dennis Taylor’s Willy’s coupe he called it pebble pulp and chef as his take on stone woods and cook that car ran extremely well very comparible to me he original car granted that’s slow today but that’s not what he was going for at the time he was running it it was still fast though him and his daughter Alex had just got it going again they both have you tube channels
