Event Coverage Who's going to the 2025 SK-500? Please post pix of the ride you'l be in.

In two weeks we'll be in Dewey in Clarence. Please post a pic of what you'll be driving so I'll be able to look you up. OR at least see your ride.

Yessssss!! Be good to see the '38 again, Dan! I don't think I've seen it since we first ran into each other at the Round Up a million years ago.

 

Planning to be there Mike @atch but not sure what I'll be in yet... I at least have to show up to get some parts from Larry @winduptoy, haul some parts back to Sid @55 Mercury for Clay @cvstl, deliver some parts to Dave @drdave, oh and haul some parts to Jimmy @gonmad as well. And, most importantly, I need to see lots of friends. It may be in a daily driver at this point but I am committed to be there.

 

Dang Jeff, and I thought I was making a lot of part connections this trip! Looks like you are the distribution hub!

 

Really wish I could join you this year to see your new “find” but afraid my show days are over for awhile- will really miss all of you but hope you have great weather and I know a good rtime!

It is a family reunion of car folks where people bring their cars along as the backdrop. It has to be my favorite atmosphere for a car show of any I have been to that must be experienced by staying for the weekend to understand it. Just showing up in the morning for the show and heading home when it is over doesn’t do it justice. Hanging out in the evenings in hotel parking lots, etc. is my favorite part.

 

Be sure to click on the link that RMONTY posted. Iowa is plenty close enough for you to do a road trip for the weekend. Folks come from further away. It's NOT too late to make your plans.

I'll be traveling with the guy on the right...his truck is pretty distinctive. I might take the Roadster but it has too many cylinders.

Thank You Jeff . As of now I’m planning on being there . This was last year. Mines the one with the natural anti bumper rattle device in the front bumper ( tree stump )

 

We're leaving home early Thursday so will print out this thread Wednesday evening. I'll have it with me and will be looking for the cars contained herein.

 

We plan on getting in prolly early afternoon Friday....unless we go junkin' in Tulsa or something. Of course, space to bring stuff home is limited so..... lol

 

Space is seldom a problem when we're in Clarence. We'll probably go to Pawhuska for lunch Friday at Ree Drummond's restaurant. We'll also visit the several antique shops while we're there. See y'all Friday evening.
