nice. Q: what manufacturer made the bellytanker? or was it scratchbuilt? the rpu is gonna hate the hills hauling the double-axle
The belly tanker was scratch built...using the 1/32 scale drop tank from a Trumpeter P-38 Lightning model kit. The truck is a Pyro '30 Model A pick up, the trailer an Aurora Hot Rod and Show Car trailer...both 1/32 kits from the 60's. Lots and lots of parts box pieces involved.
quite a collection. Q: is the green ('55?) in the first photo a dealer promotional model? i can't quite make out the label. thanks
i never remember this kit, and twice in two days i am faced with it: the hobby muses are trying to tell me something!
Another custom truck from the parts I got a couple years ago,it's a shortened 62 F100 unibody, built with no chassis so it's getting one from a 56 F100 that has been shortened.
some nice classics you've got there. Don Emmons at GSL XXIII (2011) : Free Download, Borrow, and Streaming : Internet Archive
There are definitely some very fragile little bits on these show rods! I didn't have the patience for them until I was in my twenties! Haha!
Almost done. Turns out I have Roth fever, so I started bodywork on the road agent. Revell used pink for the bubble in the reissue, when originally it was orange, so I had to find an original kit and will spray the bubble with a transparent orange.
